About Justin Farber, Owner, T206 Cards

Justin Farber began collecting cards as a child in the early 1990s, purchasing $0.25 mystery packs from a small town mall's hobby shop in rural South Dakota. Hooked, the obsession grew as he ultimately built 1953-1956 Topps sets and fell in love with the T206 set, amassing a collection of over 320 unique subjects.

Justin holds Bachelor degrees in Economics and Political Science from Pepperdine University, and an MBA from Quantic University. Justin spent over a decade in the workforce helping to develop ad tech solutions and managing multi-million dollar digital advertising campaigns for a variety of companies including Ford, Glad, and Marcus by Goldman Sachs.

In March 2023, Justin gladly resigned from his Associate Director role at a leading global ad agency, Dentsu. He is now dedicated to growing the T206 Cards business, and is currently focused on listing new products to the site and curating future vintage set breaks.

Justin also helps admin one of the largest and most active vintage trading cards groups on Facebook, VINTAGE CARDS - FIRE SALES - WAX - ESTATES - AUCTION HOUSE ⭐ 1860-1993.

About Brian Roth, Owner, Card Soup

Brian says “I began collecting baseball cards at age 14 years old and never stopped.

Since getting into collecting, I’ve attended many National Sports Collectors Conventions and made friends within the hobby while working to find my place within it. In 2018, I began buying and selling cards (usually of modern baseball players) to fund my own personal collection and had success doing it.  My hobby friends tried to encourage me to go at it full-time, insisting that I could do it if I committed to it. I shrugged that suggestion off, though; I had the card acumen, but didn’t yet have the skills or confidence to run my own business. Then, in 2020, I lost my job due to the pandemic and wasn’t certain of my professional future, but with support from family and loved ones, I was encouraged to turn my hobby into a full-time business buying and selling sports cards. I’m thrilled I took the leap of faith and can’t imagine doing anything else now.”

About Eric Drew, Owner, Boca Card Subs

Eric Drew created Boca Card Subs in April 2020 seeing an opportunity for a submission group unique to SGC, with cards being dropped off in person. Business took off quickly with the pandemic putting more people back into the hobby and wanting to submit cards and has rarely slowed down since.

Eric started collecting in 1985 after getting a Topps baseball factory set for Christmas that year and was a collector until college. He first subbed cards to PSA in the early 2000’s to resell as side income and did that occasionally until fully re-entering the hobby in 2018. He’s a collector of vintage baseball but buys packs of hockey, football, and basketball to find cards to sub.

He lives in Boca Raton with his wife Natasha, the other owner of Boca Card Subs.
