1. There's a question I always ask of mega dealers: Do you have a PC, or is everything always "for sale"? (My lcs owner doesn't collect AT ALL . . . and I would think that if I did not collect or care about cards, I would find a business with better margins!).
2. Vintage is a relatively low-margin game overall. What data / info / process do you use to decide what to hold, what to sell, how to price, etc.? I'm guessing part of it is "feel" at this point--but I'll also guess you are a VCP subscriber : ) When you land a great card, is the goal always to move it NOW, or what are the different approaches you take?
My question is of your sales [and trades], what is the channel mix? To clarify, am curious approximately what percent of sales are done at shows vs. Facebook vs. website vs. eBay vs. other?
some great questions here. Looking forward to Ashsh's replies/thoughts on these
Ashsh, when you’re buying, do you take into account which grading company graded the card? In other words, is there a significant difference from a dealer’s perspective on PSA/SGC/BVG, etc?
