Would that be referring to a savings on VAT?

on Ebay purchases you pay no State sales tax if card is sent to a tax free state(ie New Hampshire,Oregon,et al) and then it is a relatively small fee to be resent to your home

I have a small business, so I filed for a reseller's license in my state. This allows me to make tax-exempt purchase cards on eBay and other auction houses. This saves me close to 10% off the top on most purchases. The catch is that your purchases need to be for resale, and you need to capture sales tax when you sell the cards. But I sell on eBay and other platforms that collect taxes for me, or I sell to people who live out of state, in which case I don't need to collect sales tax, provided I don't exceed the minimum requirement to establish a tax nexus (this is a very high number in most states, and I won't come close to that with my aggregate sales this year). This isn't something that I recommend just anyone sign up for. But it makes sense if you have a small business or you are a reseller. This helps keep margins reasonable. Just ensure you keep accurate records and maintain compliance with state regulations.
