✅ Activity 1: First Impressions
Objective: Identify red flags based on overall look, texture, and feel.
Activity:
Photo Comparison Drill – Compare the 2 photos provided. One is a fake, and one is authentic. Choose which seems authentic at first glance and explain why based on texture, brightness, or wear pattern clues. This is tough to do from photos which is why I would always recommend buying in person or graded for a major card.

Quick Tips:
- Fake cards often look too new or too white
- Paper and gloss may feel “off,” too smooth, or too thin
- Real vintage cards should show aging that’s hard to fake
