I'll be there 2 days, but mostly just looking for set cards. There's no better place to fill sets than the National . . . and it makes for a lower-stress trip. I've gone before with loftier goals for wheeling and dealing, and it takes the fun out of it. I just like wandering around, and browsing binders for set needs and upgrades. Keep the expense low as well. I'll buy other stuff, but not looking for anything particular--just stuff that jumps out at me.
@kevmcewing Kinda the same here--especially this year. I found my way into some really sharp partial sets (70-72) and might as well finish them! I have gone looking for very specific cards before and had success, but last year I just went to walk around and meet up with some friends etc. Had some deals done ahead of time so got to exchange some cards for cash and vice versa, which is always nice!

38/39 DiMaggio, Ruth, 58 Pele, Brady Rookie and just going for the experience and meet fellow hobbyists in person - 1st national show after a several year hiatus from the hobby
And a 48 Jackie but already have my eye on one that I will see at the national show
