Boca Card Subs, your favorite SGC group submitter, has added PSA grading submissions to its list of 3rd party group submitter services.
SGC Discontinues Bulk Submitter Discounts
A few weeks back, Boca and SGC loyals were disappointed to learn that SGC discontinued its bulk submitter discount. This announcement was followed by news that PSA has rented space in the same building that houses SGC HQ in Boca Raton, Florida. You can read that earlier story here.
Boca Adds PSA Submissions
Fortunately for the Boca team (full disclosure: Boca Card Subs is a Cardhound advertising sponsor), they were able to pivot quickly. Boca Card Subs now offers group submissions services through your choice of SGC (without the customary discount) and PSA (with a small discount). You can find all of the relevant forms with current pricing on their site.
Why Use a Submission Group?
Why not just submit direct? It’s always an option of course. But submitting through a group service offers some advantages. Namely, it’s typically cheaper per card, and return shipping is also less expensive with more options to choose from.
There are still some advantages to submitting to SGC through Boca. You get better return shipping rates and faster processing on both ends. Other perks include card wiping (when relevant), replacement Card Savers (or switching if you send in top loaders), and a video of your cards pre-submittal. Also, since Boca Card Subs is local to both SGC and PSA, your cards don’t take any extra trips in the mail, unlike with some other submissions services. Submitting to PSA through Boca will have these benefits as well as the reduced rate. Boca Card Subs will be submitting directly to the PSA facility in Boca Raton beginning in the fall.
